You were the real winner in our eyes :D

7.9.09 Chris Foster (Post Classic Competitor) I'd like to forward a personal thanks to the Marshals, who braved dreadful conditions this year to make the MGP happen. Flagging was outstanding! Clear, visible and never left the rider in any doubt. ALWAYS followed by a green. outstanding work ladies and gents!

6.9.09 Gary Fowler. I would like to thank everyone who made my first Manx Grand Prix an enjoyable and memorable 2 weeks. The organisation, support and friendliness of the MMCC was second to none - personal thanks to Anne and Caroline in the office, and the amabassadors were always ready and willing to provide valuable advice when needed - personal thanks to Barry Wood. All of the useful advice provided by the Mike Hailwood Foundation in March this year came in handy at one time or another, thanks to Davy Morgan and Norman Gordon. Last but not least, thanks also to the marshals who braved the wind and rain in order to make it possible for us to ride - your dedication is greatly appreciated by all.
Finally, our thoughts and sympathy is with the family and friends of Richard Bartlett.
Gary Fowler.

6.9.09 Well done Ryan Kneen. Only 20 years of age,  very mature riding.   Second in the Junior  and  third in the Senior.   Well done Ryan,  from Dad and every one  else  - BRILLIANT!

6.9.09 Congratulations in the Senior Classic to Wattie Brown on coming 2nd, but winning for the classic boys. From your biggest fans. Val John and Dylan.

6.9.09 Brilliant result for Carolynn, we all knew she could do it. Well done to the organisers too, it has been a very difficult two weeks for everyone. Just the muddy paddock to sort out before next year! Hilary Musson.

.5.9.09 I'm still grinning re. Carolynn Sells. But my main congratulations go to the Manx Motor Cycle Club! You all did a hell of a job. Well done to all
Debs, Big Fish Isle of Man

5.9.09 Well that was a fortnight to remember. I've been going the Manx for 20 years and I can't believe how much has changed.   First and foremost it is good to see TT riders showing how bikes can be ridden.. but if you want to keep the bulk of your entries every year something will have to change.   Common sense needs to prevail or you will surely run the risk of loosing the bulk of your your classic field.  Surely you can run a race within a race?  Well done to Wattie Brown .Let's hope the future of the Manx is brighter than the weather! Jenny L.

5.9.09 Gary Fowler. Gary,  Congratulations on your 6th place replica finish. We have been following your progress daily here in Montreal. Good luck for your last race.
Bring it home safely. Best wishes, Robert & Susan

5.9.09 That Lightweight race was the best race I've seen on the Mountain Circuit for years. Congratulations to Dan and Neil - can't believe the lap times considering the conditions. I reckon it would have been 116 / 117 without the gale force winds and a third of the circuit wet. Jim

5.9.09 Carolynn Sells. Brilliant girl you show them how its done, win by over a minute!! Pauline (Union Mills marshal)

5.9.09 Michael Russell. Congratulations Mike, brilliant performance. Now for the TT!! Andrew, Laura, Debs, Stephen and Andie

5.9.09 Frank van den Biggelaar, Well done, bringing the Honda to the finish. Henri van Casteren

3.9.09 Eddie Crooks. Just a few lines to congratulate Eddie Crooks, the MGP Guest of Honour for 2009. Eddie was my sponsor and mentor in the 60's when I rode in the Manx - even managed to get a win in the 1968 Lightwieght on one of his 250cc Crooks Suzuki's - oh happy days!
I'm sure that Eddie has enjoyed his role as G-o-H and I'm very pleased and proud to see that the MMCC have chosen such a really great guy for this year.
I am looking forward to meeting up with Eddie aagain at next years TT when it will be Suzuki's 50th year at the TT. Good luck to all at tha MGP.
Regards
Frank Whiteway

25.8.09. Last Night's Practice. Three highlights for me. The sound of Alan Oversby's MV Augusta through Douglas Road corner
(especially on his second lap), the speed of Ryan Farquhar on the Paton and the style of Roy Richardson on that immaculate reverse cyclinder Yamaha. Roll on tonight! Jim Hunter
