The weather was the winner on Monday morning as the Clerk of the Course, Phil Taubman, was forced to call off the day's racing schedule.
A poor early weather forecast led Mr Taubman to announce that the IMGold Newcomers race and the Classic TT Motorsport Merchandise F1/F2 race would not be run until Tuesday.
Initially it was hoped that it would still be possible to run the Okells 350cc race and the Classic TT Lap of Honour during Monday morning.
However, just before roads were due to close at 9.30 it was announced on Manx Radio TT that the day's schedule had been put off due to deteriorating conditions on the Mountain.
The Clerk of the Course announced that roads would close at 11.30am on Tuesday to allow Monday's full programme of races and parades to go ahead.
