After a fine sunny morning, the weather turned to rain at around 3.00pm.

The Clerk of the Course announcedf that a final decision regarding this evening's practice would be made at 5.00pm.

The decision was taken that ther final practice session would go ahead, with the roads closing on time.

Both sessions this evening would be untimed, and possibly one lap only.

At 6.10pm the Clerk of the Course announced regretfully that the practice session would not go ahead, due the the weather closing in, especially on the Mountain and that the roads would be openedf as usual by the 'Roads Open' car.

A total of 36 machines had passed through Technical Inspection before the practice was cancelled.
