Rob Vine’s 1972 Rickman Metisse framed Norton Atlas 750

Completely restored and rebuilt 2009/10 by Peter Allen of Whitfield, near Dover, who has extensive “form” in restoring old British bikes. Peter ‘volunteered’ after Malcolm Wheeler of Mortons Motorcycle Media Ltd published an appeal for restoration help in ‘Classic Racer’, following a request from Rob’s younger brother, Alex Vine.

This immaculate, tuned machine will be auctioned in the
Villa Marina
Wednesday 1st September, 2010
after the presentations for the MGP Classic races.

The proceeds of the auction will go to the Rob Vine Fund, Registered Charity No 954 (Isle of Man).
